Victoria Simmons Obituary
Victoria Vitina (Penardo) Simmons, 65, of Coventry, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Rickey G. Simmons. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Vitina (Fresolone) Penardo.
Victoria worked with disabled individuals at Broad Rock Residence for more than 30 years. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to those in her care left a lasting impact on the residents, their families, and her colleagues. She continued her work faithfully until illness forced her retirement.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Rickey G. Simmons. She also leaves several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Dominic Penardo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, with a memorial service to follow.
Burial will be on Thursday May 14, 2026 at 2:00PM at All Saints Cemetery, 389 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
