Caroline “Carrie” Coppersmith Obituary
Caroline “Carrie” Beth Coppersmith passed away unexpectedly on the evening of May 4, 2026.
She was born on September 6, 1964, daughter of the late Alvin and Joan (Lorenz) Steinke. Carrie attended area schools and soon went to work for the Trimline Corporation. It was at Trimline where she met and fell in love with Bernard “Bernie” Luedtke. The pair were married in Sheboygan in 1998.
Together, they loved traveling to Northern Wisconsin and surrounding areas, as well as Las Vegas, Tennessee, and Phoenix, Arizona. Carrie was the happiest when visiting with family. She loved the holidays and was very artistic, finding joy in drawing and doing craft projects. Carrie also loved her pet cats, Bella, Oliver, Orval, and Jade. She will be missed by many friends and family especially her husband Bernie.
Carrie is survived by her loving husband Bernie, her daughter Ashley (Brandon) O’Donnell, grandchildren Madison Osbahr, Liam O’Donnell, and Alex O’Donnell, sisters Tammy (Kenny) Wolff and Kathy Steinke, and her uncle William (Nancy) Steinke. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
