Tristan Taylor Obituary: St. Benedict, Indiana Teen Dies at 16

TAYLOR, TRISTAN V., 16, St. Benedict, passed away May 3, 2026.  Born May 31, 2009, in Indiana, the son of Paul Taylor and Heather Warner.  Preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Frederick Wood; and aunt, Lucinda “Cindy” Taylor.  Survived by mother, Heather Warner and husband, Brandon Kirsch, St. Benedict; sister, Makayla Shaner; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Joanne Taylor; maternal grandmother, Diane Warner; uncles & aunts, Ed & Jackie Boslet, who were also his Godparents; Jeffrey Warner, Tim Taylor and Lee (Heather) Taylor; and numerous cousins.  Also survived by special friends, Julia, Ben, Dylan, George & Ricky.  Tristan was an eleventh-grade student at Cambria Heights High School and attended Admiral Peary Vo-Tech in the construction trades.  He earned his Black Belt in Karate.  He had a questioning nature and wanted to know “how” and “why” about everything in the world.  He saw things with great depth at a very young age.
