Tammy L. Cooper Obituary (1961 – 2026) – Plainfield, IN
Tammy L. Cooper, age 64 of Danville passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026 in Indianapolis. She was born on August 31, 1961 in Indianapolis. She married Keith Cooper in February 1988; he survives. Tammy worked for the Farm credit administration (FCA) for 32 years. Tammy loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was the best grandma. She attended everything she could and kept them both a lot. She made sure both of her grandchildren had everything they ever wanted. It’s safe to say she was both of their favorite people. She always enjoyed a good game of solitaire and playing other card games with her grandkids, making sure she let them win almost every time.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Velma Spears.
Survivors include her husband Keith Cooper. Children: Tara Cooper and Taylor (Krysta) Cooper. Grandchildren: Avery Barton and Kayla Cooper. Brothers: Jimmy Spears and Tony Spears. Sister: Debbie Spears.
Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Private burial will take place in Stilesville Cemetery.
