Orval Theodore Christopherson was born on February 14, 1938, in rural Moorhead, Minnesota, to Henry and Clara Christopherson. Raised on a family farm during challenging times, Orval learned the values of perseverance, faith, and responsibility from an early age.
As a young boy, Orval helped care for livestock, worked in the fields beside his parents, and developed a lifelong appreciation for the land and rural life. Friends and relatives remember him as hardworking, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Funeral Details
A celebration of life service honoring Orval Christopherson will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Military honors will be presented following the service in recognition of Orval’s faithful service to his country.
Burial will follow at Prairie View Memorial Cemetery.
