Obituary: Oxford Family Therapist and Father of Three Dies at Age 50
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Justin J. Kruger, 50, of Oxford, Connecticut. Justin passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, leaving his family and friends deeply saddened.
Justin was a devoted and loving father to his three sons. He treasured his time with them and made sure to create lasting memories through outdoor adventures — camping, hiking, and fishing trips that brought the family together. His boys were the light of his life, and he poured his heart into being a present and caring dad.
A licensed marriage and family therapist, Justin found deep purpose in helping others. After training as a chef at Johnson & Wales University earlier in his career, he followed his calling to support families and individuals through life’s challenges. Known for his compassion, warmth, and ability to truly connect with people, he made a meaningful difference in many lives.
Justin will be remembered as a kind-hearted man who lived with purpose — someone who loved his family fiercely and gave generously to those around him. His smile, his adventurous spirit, and his caring nature touched everyone who knew him.
Our deepest condolences go out to his three sons, his entire family, close friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May you find comfort in one another and in the beautiful memories you shared with Justin during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Justin. You will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
