Mark A. Jones, 51, of Irwin, died Friday, May 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born August 12, 1974 in Jeannette, a son of Wayne G and Diane (Geiger) Jones. Mark was an employee of the Penn Township Sewage Authority. He loved to hunt and fish and his favorite place was his camp and the new house he and his wife were planning to retire to in Tionesta. He was a lifetime member of Paintertown Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Shidle Lodge, No. 601, F. & A. M., Irwin. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of over 25 years, Lisa M. (Stanoszek) Jones; his son Hunter M. Jones; his brother Matthew (Carrie) Jones; his father and mother in law Duane and Sharon Stanoszek; sisters in law Jennifer (Scott) Kallenborn and Sara Stanoszek (fiance Jose); his aunt; nieces and nephews; cousins; and his beloved pet dog Roxy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14. Paintertown VFD and Shidle Lodge will hold services at the funeral home.
