Louise (Paternostro) Stabile, 96, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Gennaro R. Stabile, passed away on May 1, 2026, at Manchester Manor.
She was born in Hartford, CT, on February 27, 1930, daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Trapasso) Paternostro. She lived most of her life in Hartford and her later years in Manchester. Louise was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. She was affectionately known as “Weezy”.
She was preceded in death by her only son, Gerald M. Stabile, and her brother, Dominic Paternostro.
She leaves behind: her two daughters – Lynn Doyle (Larry Warren) of Vernon, and Carol Dubiskas (Thomas Dubiskas) of Ellington; and three grandsons – Thomas Doyle, James Doyle (Kayla) and Brandon Dubiskas. Louise was also a great-grandmother to Devyn Shea Doyle. Louise will be greatly missed by her dear friends, Barbara (roommate) and Pauline.
Burial will be private per her wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ladd-Turkington and Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, in Vernon, CT.
