Kyle Loftis (January 1, 1983 – May 5, 2026), 43, of the Omaha/Sarpy County, Nebraska area, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Kyle Loftis, the founder of a street racing YouTube channel, died on May 5. He was 43.
A spokesperson for the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office — which is based south of Omaha, Neb. — confirmed to PEOPLE that their office and Gretna Fire Department personnel “responded to the home of Kyle Loftis” on the evening of May 5. He was pronounced dead, and his death was registered as “not suspicious,” the spokesperson said.
Loftis’s death was also announced on the Instagram account for 1320video on May 6.

“We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night,” the post began. “We are in a state of shock.”
According to the media company’s website, Loftis launched 1320Video in 2003, shooting photos of cars and sharing them on early internet message boards. As social media platforms — such as YouTube, Instagram and Facebook — gained traction in the early 2010s, 1320video started to expand its reach. It now has a combined following of over 10 million.
