It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of David Chavis, who left us on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Born on August 4, 1969, David was 56 years old at the time of his passing. A longtime resident of Lumberton, North Carolina, he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
David lived a life rooted in family, faith, and community. Those who knew him speak of his kind heart and the steady, genuine way he showed up for the people he loved. He found joy in simple things and carried a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on family and friends alike.
He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, who remember him as a devoted family man who valued his relationships and the bonds he built over the years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Full Gospel Holiness Church in Lumberton.
Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Interment will take place immediately afterward at Full Gospel Holiness Church Cemetery, McDuffie Crossing Road, Lumberton, NC.
