Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2026 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 N. Spring St. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Ruperto is survived by children, Gilberto and Filomena Navarrete, Angel and Nora Navarrete, Martha and Alfredo Rodriguez, and Emilia and Luis Limas; grandchildren, Rosie, Margarita, Gilberto Jr, Angel Jr, Monica, Veronica, Crystal, Sylvia, Victoria, Manuel, Ruben, Abel, Anna, Veronica, Liandro, Rogelio, Luis, and Lidia; and 51 great-grandchildren.
