Caleb Johnson Obituary
Caleb J. Johnson, 41, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on October 21, 1984 to Joe and Katherine (McCarren) Johnson. Caleb graduated from Stillman Valley High School. He enjoyed all things with a motor and liked his garden in the summer for all the fresh vegetables.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Katherine “Kathy” Johnson; sister, Rebbecca Peanosky; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Jessie and Patty Johnson and Jim and June McCarren; sister, Michelle Eads; uncles, Greg Sharkey and Jack McCarren; aunt, Barb McCarren; Cyndi McCarren; Darrell Christenson; and his best dog, Buckshot.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park.
