Lisa Marie Morales, age 59, passed away on May 3, 2026. Born on July 31, 1966, in Hartford, Connecticut, she was raised in the Hartford area, where she built the foundation of her life and faith.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, she was known for her warm, resilient, and faithful spirit. She worked as an executive assistant in the insurance industry, a role she carried out with dedication and professionalism before later facing health challenges with quiet strength and perseverance.
She was an avid sports fan who especially loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys each Sunday, a passion she embraced while raising her children and one that became a cherished family tradition.
Above all, she found her greatest joy in being a mother and grandmother. Her love was constant, selfless, and unwavering, and her presence brought comfort and strength to those around her.
She is survived by her son, Fernando Morales; her daughter, Vanessa Morales; her sister, Debra Duplin; her brother, Daniel Duplin; her cousin, Denise Houman, with whom she shared a close and special bond; and her niece and nephew, Rachael and Matthew, along with her beloved grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 7, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows, 79 New Park Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut, followed by a burial ceremony at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT.
