It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ann Hemphill, 89, of Minot, North Dakota, and formerly of Sawyer. Ann passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Ann was a longtime resident of North Dakota who lived a full and meaningful life. She spent many years in Sawyer before moving to Minot, where she became part of the community. Known for her quiet strength and kind nature, Ann touched the lives of her family and friends with her caring spirit and steady presence.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was at the center of her life, and she will be remembered for the warmth and comfort she brought to her home and loved ones.
The Minot and Sawyer communities are mourning the loss of this longtime North Dakota woman whose life spanned nearly nine decades. Ann’s family and friends will hold her memory close and find comfort in the many good times they shared together.
