Woodrow Graham was born on December 6, 1943, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Henry and Louise Graham. Raised in a close-knit and hardworking family, Woodrow learned early the values of faith, perseverance, and treating others with respect.
As a young man, Woodrow demonstrated a strong sense of discipline and responsibility. He graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1961 before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. His years of military service shaped much of his character and deepened his lifelong commitment to service and leadership.
Following his honorable military service, Woodrow pursued a career in public utilities and infrastructure management. Over a professional career spanning more than forty years, he became known for his reliability, professionalism, and exceptional work ethic. He is additionally survived by his younger sister, Martha Collins, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, church members, and lifelong friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Woodrow was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Graham, and his brother, Robert Graham.

Funeral Details
A celebration of life service honoring Woodrow Graham will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Military honors will be presented following the service in recognition of Woodrow’s faithful service to his country.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Birmingham.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to veterans’ support organizations or local community outreach programs in Woodrow’s memory, reflecting the values of service and compassion that guided his life.
