Gladys Ditmer Obituary
Gladys Dale Ditmer, age 61, passed away on May 6, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
Gladys was born on November 27, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, to Billy C. Ross and Sarah Tolson. She dedicated 15 years of her life serving as a librarian in Fairborn, Ohio, where she was known for her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit.
A devoted saint of God for over 35 years, Gladys faithfully attended Abundance of Rain Church for more than 25 years. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she touched many through her compassion, prayers, and unwavering love for others.
Gladys is survived by her loving children, Brian Ditmer of Winchester, Kentucky, and Chelsea Ditmer-Aljabri of Lexington, Kentucky; her cherished granddaughters, Bailey and Sarah; her mother, Sarah Tolson of Dayton, Ohio; and her siblings: Junior Ross of Fairborn, Ohio; Dean Ross and wife Nancy of Fairborn, Ohio; Anna Osborne and husband Joe of Dayton, Ohio; and Angela Mason of Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy C. Ross.
Gladys was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Rev. Christy Prichard officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
