Joshua Samuel Cole, 40, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Methodist Hospital-Germantown in Germantown, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, January 21, 1986, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of Harold Samuel “Sammy” Cole and Penny Lynn Franks Hatley.
Josh loved his family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. Whether gathered for special occasions or simple everyday moments, Josh’s greatest joy in life was being surrounded by those he loved most.
In his spare time, Josh enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He found peace and happiness in nature and looked forward to the times he could share those experiences with family and friends. His love for the outdoors reflected his quiet strength, patience, and appreciation for life’s simple blessings.
Josh was a dedicated employee of Newly Weds of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Mr. Cole will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Cherielle Carroll Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sons, Aden Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Alex Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jacob Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Emily Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee, his father, Harold Samuel “Sammy” Cole (Channa) of Union City, Tennessee ;his mother, Penny Lynn Franks Hatley of Dyersburg, Tennessee and one sister, Amber Lynn Cole of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
