Katie was a 2001 Fostoria High School graduate where she was a cheerleader and served on student council. She then graduated from University of Kentucky in 2005 and was a loyal and vocal member of Big Blue Nation. She was a Senior Executive Recruiter for Alexander Mann Solutions.
Growing up, Katie became an accomplished ballerina. Later, she became involved in Fostoria’s YMCA and served on their board of directors before moving to Kentucky. She was a very loving, caring, and compassionate mother, partner, daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and aunt.
Sadly, she leaves behind Brandon and her son, Crew, who she absolutely adored and loved with all her heart every waking moment. Those who followed Katie on Facebook can easily attest to that. She also shared a very special and enduring bond with her Nana, Betty Miller.
Shortly after Crew was born, Katie and Brandon started a college education fund for him. In lieu of flowers, we know Katie would be extremely grateful for any contributions to this fund if you are so inclined by mailing your contribution to fund administrator Gary Miller, 244 Rock St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
