Charlotte Cobb Turner Obituary May 8, 2026
Charlotte Cobb Turner, 78, left for her heavenly home on Friday, May 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by those she loved. Born on October 10, 1947, in Rockingham Co. to the late Archie and Lillian Moore Cobb.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Mizpah Methodist Church with Rev. Bethany Johnson officiating and burial will follow in Lowes United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Monday, May 11, 2026, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the residence.
Charlotte was married to Sammy Turner for over 43 years and he was her Rock and Confidant and the love of her life. She dedicated over 30 years to Miller/Ball Corp. before her retirement. Charlotte was an active member of Mizpah Methodist Church for over 16 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister: “Dot” Breeze.
Charlotte’s greatest joy was her family, especially her great grandchild: Emerson Claire, creating a legacy of love with Sunday Lunch and grandkids nights. Grammy and Pops as they were faithfully called, always told that they did not need a vacation because their children and grands were their entertainment.
She is survived by her husband: Sammy S. Turner of the home, 3 children: Michael Brent Frazier (Farrah), Preston Trent Frazier (Amy) and Sara Turner Cobb (Jordan) all of Reidsville, 7 grandchildren: Jessie Taylor (Landon), Mikayla Frazier (Spencer), Danielle Moore (Lucas), Seth Frazier, Colbie Frazier (Jacob), Eli Cobb and Lillian Cobb and 1 great grandchild: Emerson Moore her in laws: Lindsey and Nancy Turner.
