Naomie Ruth (Floros, Brauer) Crouch, 95, of Middletown, CT, widow of Theodore Brauer and Leonard Crouch, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at Water’s Edge Rehabilitation. Born in New Britain, she raised her four daughters in Cromwell and lived in Middletown for the past 45 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
As the youngest of ten children, Naomie’s love for family was at the heart of her life. She found joy in roller skating in her poodle skirts and later bowling in a league, creating lasting memories. Known as “Gram” to her grandchildren, she shared her warmth, love, and joy with all, leaving behind cherished memories that will live on.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Smith (John) of Elgin, TX, and Amy Kloten (Greg) of West Hartford, CT; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, her daughters, Sandra Davis and June Bishop (Dean), five brothers, and four sisters.
